We will be holding our next Introductory Pistol class on Sunday, June 8th. Please arrive by 5:15 for check in. Class begins at 5:30.

This class is an introductory class aimed at beginner pistol shooters or those who recently purchased their first gun or are looking to purchase their first gun.

The class will include one hour of instruction on gun safety in the home, what to expect at the range, how to operate and safely handle a pistol as well as proper shooting techniques. This will be followed by one hour of live fire practice.

Students will bring their own firearms and ammunition or rent one of ours for an additional $10 fee (plus ammunition cost). Eye and ear protection, targets and a copy of the NRA New Shooters Guide are included.

Cost for the class is set at $115 per student and must be paid at time of enrollment. The additional $10 rental fee and any ammo purchased will be paid for upon arrival to the class.

Thinking about getting your New Jersey Concealed Carry Permit?

DSR in partnership with Letting the Lead Fly and the Girl Behind the Gun is proud to announce our New Jersey Carry Class & Qualification.

Upon successful completion of this class and shooting qualification you will have everything you need to apply for your NJ concealed carry permit. We will walk you through the process step by step to ensure you have everything you need and your application is correctly completed.

This class is open to residents of all states.

The class will be held on June 19th at 6:30PM. Please arrive by 6:20 PM for check-in.

Cost is $150 per student due at enrollment. This does not include NJ’s application fee of $200 or any fingerprinting fees that may be required.

Here’s what you need to bring for your required firearm qualification:

 • Your carry firearm and holster

 • Eye and ear protection

 • At least 50 rounds of ammo (100 rounds recommended)

 • Paper and pen (or any writing material)

Important Notes:

 • New Jersey residents and non-residents will need a State Bureau of Identification (SBI) number as part of the application process.

 • We’ll walk you through how to obtain your SBI number during the class.
